Avaya.com Gets a Facelift

href="http://www.avaya.com/usa/about-avaya/newsroom/news-releases/2011/pr-110615">The Power of We branding launch back in June. Now, avaya.com is getting a facelift.

Our main goals in updating avaya.com were to provide a more contemporary design and improve usability by making it easier for visitors to find and use the content they're looking for. To make sure we're on the right track, we tested a bunch of layouts with visitors and conducted extensive testing with focus groups - all to ensure the new site and navigation were intuitive, understandable, and met expectations for content.

The new US home page launched last week and will begin to make its way to other parts of the world during the first quarter of fiscal year 2012. Check it out:

Here's what our Web marketers had to say:

"We're very excited with the new look and feel of our avaya.com web site," said Gail Hoffmann, director, User Experience. "We've received an overwhelming amount of feedback from each of our business units on the direction and improvements we're making, which generated a lot of positive buzz internally. Visitors can expect an innovative, highly interactive and contemporary step forward."

Wendy Irvine, eMarketing project lead, said the new home page features a wider main marquee area with compelling photography, which will showcase up to three marquees, improved navigation and taxonomy with a 'mega-menu' in the top header area, social media icons and a new Quick Links section at the bottom for easy access to the site's more popular links.

Obviously, we'd love your feedback too. So, take a look at the new & improved avaya.com and post a comment below letting us know what you think.
